NYFW: STYLE IS NOT JUST DRESS, BUT ATTITUDE

You did not need a seat at Fashion Week to realize that New York is the style mecca. New Yorkers know the real show is on the street, not on the runway—embracing their offbeat individuality. The streets were packed with color outside Skylight Clarkson Square. Only one common trait is shared:  They really don’t care what you think about how they dress. That said, the week did provide diversity that had not existed on the runways. Diversity in designers and real figured models of all sizes and skin tone graced the runway. Fashion from different ethnic background, elevated street styles, and even political statements were showcased, which signified what makes America beautiful. Real style is just an attitude!
