Baby It′s Cold Outside

This frigid Febru-u-ary disrupted our quiet, cozy winter scene. It aggressively hit much of the country making it harder to focus on American designers′ collections. While the past year of pandemic had many designers concerned with figuring out how to dress customers who had nowhere to go, their creativity was offered through virtual runways and any other means necessary. So, gone are the luxe pajamas. There is hope for a dressed-up future as we navigate through social distancing and give way to socializing again. Designers are creating collections with a post-Covid-19 world in mind. Let′s stay tune.

But for me, I opted to snuggle up – staying as warm as possible – with a skein of Peruvian wool to create beautiful wool hats perfect for cold days since the cuddly texture keeps you toasty warm. I love, love cold winter knitting projects. The creation of the hats looks spectacular in earth tones and shades of gray. Knitted garments will always be the rage in and out of season. I guarantee that once you start you won′t be able to stop.
